| Welcome
to the TheNorthernSights.co.uk web site ! TheNorthernSights.co.uk is an archive of photographs taken around the
North East of England that in particular show places of
interest or show a before and
after picture
of a place, building or what ever we find
interesting has
changed.
We intend this site to show the changes and re-development
of the North East of England over a period of time.
Since
this is a newly established site our archive of
photographs is currently fairly small, but this will grow
rapidly over the coming months and years as we record
things that change around the North East.
We
intend to take pictures of buildings before they are
changed or demolished, parks before they are renovated and
many other Northern Sights of interest. So if you know of somewhere that is
about to change forever please let us know using the links
at the top of this page. Also,
if you used to live in the North East of England and now live abroad
or in other parts of the UK and would like to see what a
particular place looks like now let us know where it is
and we will do our best.
Once
the archive expands we intend to make the original high
resolution images available on CD so that you can view
them in the comfort of your own home.
